UDC Law Review Editorial Board Attends 2011 National Law Review Conference

Outgoing Co-Editor-in-Chief, Evan Mascagni (left), and outgoing Notes Editor, Irvin Cannaday (right), attended the National Conference of Law Reviews 2011 Conference in San Diego, CA in early April with incoming Editor-in-Chief, Joyce Roldan (2nd from right), and incoming Symposium Editor, Tracy Jackson (2nd from left).

At the conference, outgoing law review editors from law schools across the country shared valuable information with incoming editorial boards to learn from.  The four-day conference was filled with workshops ranging from the transition to digital publications to being an effective leader on your law review.

The students also met with renowned constitutional law scholar Erwin Chemerinsky, Dean of the University of California, Irvine School of Law.  Dean Chemerinsky was the keynote speaker at the conference.  This was the UDC Law Review’s first appearance at the national conference and the 2011-2012 Editorial Board hope to use this opportunity to move forward on positive momentum of the 2010-2011 Editorial Board.
